My work has been greatly influenced  by my 30-plus years’ immersion in Theatre, as actor, director and designer. Though I love to explore the rich plein air opportunities in Maine, I  find myself increasingly drawn to the figure in the interior, to painting the ‘drama’ that light reveals on the playing surface.

Education:  I studied under Janet Manyan at the Maine College of Art in Continuing Studies.
